Welcome to Snickers Legacy Dog Rescue! We are a nonprofit organization located in Salt Lake City, Utah, committed to saving the lives of dogs at immediate risk of euthanasia and long stay shelter dogs. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home dogs in need, giving them a second chance at life. Snickers was my soulmate and best friend who passed away in November 2023; the nonprofit is to honor his life and our bond.

Fiona
Fiona was on the euthanasia list at an Oakland shelter, and was saved and transported to Salt Lake City. She learned new behavioral skills at Snickers Legacy Dog Rescue, is very loyal and loves to play with all the toys she can find. She found her forever home in February 2025.
Velma
Velma was a long stay shelter dog at West Valley Animal Shelter. Velma slowly but surely opened up and become comfortable around people and other dogs. We are excited to announce that Velma has found her forever home!
Carmen
Carmen was on the euthanasia list at an Oakland shelter. She was saved and transported to Salt Lake City to Snickers Legacy Dog Rescue. Carmen loves to play, cuddle and go on long walks. She found her forever home in February 2025.
Tanner
Tanner was pulled from West Valley Shelter in Salt Lake City and spent a few months at Snickers Legacy Dog Rescue making friends and learning behavioral skills. Tanner found his forever home in February 2026.
ryker
Ryker was on the euthanasia list at an Oakland shelter. He was saved and transported to Salt Lake City to Snickers Legacy Dog Rescue. Ryker loves to go on long walks and play catch. He found his forever home in August 2025.
